Our school was founded and built by Master Matthew Hughes a 6th degree Black Belt, who has dedicated 56 years to practicing Taekwondo with the American Taekwondo Association. His passion for the art as well as the mission to empower the next generation are some of the many things that make the school so special.

After teaching classes all over, serving our country and overcoming a challenging recovery from the amputation of his left leg, Master Hughes moved to Spokane and set out to build a much needed school for our community. He has poured his heart and soul into his calling of leading others and teaching the ways of Taekwondo. The walls and the school is being upgraded but the mat and the teaching is ready to equip all who join here.  

We are committed to helping everyone, especially the younger generation, learn and grow in strength of character, self-discipline, self-defense, and life skills.
